My name is Gaëlle and I lead the Operational Excellence and Change Management practice at Capco Paris. I supervise various projects on these topics (e.g. organizational design, new ways of working, cultural transformation) and I am also in charge of the INEO community (Innovation & Efficacité Opérationnelle).
After having worked for an investment bank in Paris, London and New York for three years as a business analyst, I joined Capco in 2011 as an Associate Consultant (with a Master’s degree in financial markets and a degree in statistics). At that time, I was looking for an international financial consulting firm that would keep me challenged and help me acquire industry knowledge and develop stronger analytical and big-picture thinking skills. My boss in NY had a copy of the last Capco Journal on his desk and lent it to me to read. I was truly impressed by the quality of the content and thought it was really forward-thinking, which made me want to join Capco.
Two interviews later and a move from the US back to France, I was proud to start as a junior consultant in Paris in early 2011. In the end, I chose Capco because of the people. Capco colleagues are smart, driven and committed – and on top of that they are good and fun people.
During my early years at Capco, I have led several multi-year operational and cultural transformation programs in France and abroad (with up to 2000 people and across 12 geographies). As part of that, I had the opportunity to work for several months in London, Singapore, Frankfurt, Madrid and Lausanne, discovering other Capco offices through delivering Lean Management training in the UK and Switzerland and attending events.
From 2016, I have been leading the Operational Excellence and Change Management practice in Paris. Our role is to support our clients in the design and execution of their operational excellence and cultural transformation programs, in order to promote client centricity, efficiency and agility in operating modes as well as team empowerment.
My team and I deliver solutions within multiple areas, such as operational efficiency, organizational design, managerial coaching, new ways of working, frugal innovation as well as people & culture transformation. Our approaches are all tailor-made for each client, based on best practices in the financial sector and inspired by innovative trends that are not yet widespread in our industry (e.g. biomimicry, neurosciences, Jugaad approach). It is our creativity and our #beyourselfatwork DNA that make the difference for our clients and projects.
Outside of work, I have two main passions - travelling and food. I have visited 40 countries so far and love discovering signature cuisines from simple inns to top-rated restaurants in France and abroad.
