I started my career in management consulting, without really knowing what it was, as a multi-industry generalist in London. After many hours on planes travelling to client projects, I realized that I wanted to specialize in an industry— that was how I found Capco. Today, I am a Managing Principal at Capco Geneva and part of the Swiss Leadership team, with a specialization in investment services, organizational transformation, digital and tech delivery for private banks and asset managers.
As a child of a NATO economist, I was always on the move growing up. While I am Greek by nationality, I feel ‘hybrid’ by nature. A few years ago, I took a leap of faith and moved to Asia for a big client project. The initial plan was for only a few months, but I ended up staying much longer while working in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok. Working abroad in an unfamiliar territory taught me to always adapt to the receiver (or the natives) - one of many skills required in consulting.
I love Capco‘s flat hierarchy and entrepreneurial spirit and have always had access to mentors and coaches who supported my career. Working with smart people from all over the world, I learnt to never take no for an answer, and that there is always a way to make things happen. In the consulting industry, perseverance and resilience are key, but the long-term friendships that you build at Capco make your journey a lot easier.
My life outside of work is about discovering the next best workout, skiing in the Swiss mountains, being an impromptu DJ for friends, but most of all - teaching Woody (my dog) new tricks!
